This Khan Academy video shows how to simplify ratios and how to use them in an applied situation.

These notes from MathCentre introduce the idea of ratios, show how to simplify them, and then conclude with some applications of ratios.

You can use the following NUMBAS exercises to practise what you've learned. The first one involves simplifying and calculating ratios, the second involves identifying equivalent ratios, and the final one allows you to apply what you’ve learned to a real-life problem.
