The Department of Mathematics in conjunction with the Mathematics Support Centre in NUI Maynooth hosted the 3rd Irish Workshop on Mathematics Learning and Support Centres on Friday the 5th of December, 2008.
The theme of the conference was ‘Is Mathematics Support Worthwhile?’. We focused on ways of measuring the impact of Mathematics support and ways of improving the effectiveness of initiatives.
Professor Tony Croft and Professor Duncan Lawson gave the keynote addresses.
